CRAB STICK REBUSADO
Camaron Rebusado is a shrimp dish almost similar to ebi tempura of the Japanese. This is where I get the inspiration of cooking this crab sticks the similar way. The crab sticks was coated with batter then deep fry until golden brown.
You may use banana catsup or a mixture of catsup and mayonaise for the dip. It was so delicious. Try it.
CRAB STICK REBUSADO
Ingredients:
500 grams Crab Sticks
2 pcs. Fresh Eggs
2 cups Flour
Cold Water
1 tsp. Maggie Magic Sarap
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking oil for frying
Procedure:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine fresh eggs, flour, cold water, maggie magic sarap, salt and pepper. Mix together to make a batter until smooth. Make sure to put water little by little and the batter must be thick enough to coat with the crab sticks.
2. Coat each crab stick in batter then fry it in hot oil until golden brown.
Serve hot with catsup or mayonaise on the side.
